01
A mentor in his corner
AFGM pairs young men ages 8–21 with experienced, character-driven men who offer consistent time, guidance and accountability.
02
One hour can open a door
Mentors meet or contact their assigned mentees for at least one hour each week. The point is not a perfect speech. It is being present, listening closely and helping a young man keep moving forward.
03
Guidance for real life
The work can include education, health, leadership, life direction and the habits that help young men become dependable adults.
